Well i'd say its a good 1/3 chunk of July gone and i guess an update would be nice... actually some new pictures in ma gallery would be better too but lets save that for a little after the current happenings OTL... Anywhooo nuttin much to say except im still on break and i survived Anime Expo 09 a week ago! That was a lot of fun...err well except for the recovery part of it =_=... who would'a thunk you'd catch a flu from a mass migration of otaku who dont really bathe or keep hygiene as a priority eh? Well keeping generic convention experience related puns to a minimum let me explain my artsy status shall we? Ok during this break, and im not lying, i have been able to start some new stuff. I have taken a liking to drawing anime fanart cuz... well i mean its fanart! Its easy to start cuz im prolly already watching the anime and bam i have references already cuz da-da-da its wut im watching 0_o... no concept developing, no brainstorming, just worry bout ionno pose and bg? anywhooo sure u say well good for you now you can start showing us ur talent u lazy bum now do it!... woowoowooh ther eager deviant whom i hope is reading this, its not all just convention shwag thrown directly at you or a stroll in a non-humid convention hall... non non non theres always 2 sides to a coin yo... =_= well in a nutshell i watch anime too fast... i mean im serious i finish a series and BAM next, no savoring... no grieving/celebrating...just next, so making fanart while running on MOE fuel is kinda tuff since i keep changing da dam anime like every so often so as far as i can tell my most reccent fanart which is like already 60% done will prolly be making it out to ma gallery first... >_> im just hoping soon... i also have a couple more that i started...buuut not entirely shure how to pan it out of the "finish me please before you forget me again" bin/folder on ma compyuta... hmmm also i got a couple of originals im working on... lol especially one since i keep restarting it in different classes at skool...ahem another story fo another time... anywayz hopefully i can get those done if i can ever finish my fanart trials here... Well ionno... this looks like another cheap update to me but at least im bored enuff to care to write an entree now arent i? *chirpchirp* Ok fine =_= go back to ur facebooks or twitters or wutnots imma go play Blazblue now...peace out till next time yo...

Is a revival in order? Well only I can be sure of that... and well its looking pretty good. For me classes are ending soon (not as soon as I would want) and I'm starting to get into the drawing spirits again after being stuck under stacks of books, tests and the like for the past... well I dunno anymore... its been that long... Anywayz I haven't reached that point of satisfaction where I could say my anime art is good enough by my standards but hey thats what trainings for. I'm hoping this summer I can start putting new pics out and seeing where I can go from there but for now baby steps OTL... Well now, it seems until my finals are over i won't really have much here except for I've added an ID and a new screenshot pic from my new laptop... its a lame attempt to add some pictures into my gallery since its been practically empty since I purged my old drawings but hey its like I said...after my break starts...err... maybe a little after since AX is around the corner... but ya new pictures...hopefully... bleh either way thats all for this overdue update...

So ya it seems being on a break finally got me some time to work on some old sketches... to my dismay unfortunately i don't like how some of em turned out ... anywayz moving onto my point I just bought me a copy of 5 Centimeters Per Second and as my journal suggests... "Poof" I was blown away by the sheer beauty this short animated film portrayed. Compelled to know more about this film's production I watched the directors interview on the dvd's extra and found to my surprise, my epiphany for the day... its not that this creator was trying to make the art in this short anime film as real to life as possible but more like he was trying to portray things as they would naturally seem like. I know what im saying doesn't make much sense but generally speaking this concept i have grasp is making me want to try drawing in a different approach... so for now instead of trying to dish out fast sketches and sloppy/lazy colorings in order to somehow imitate great pieces of anime artworks created by my favorite artists here on DA im going to slow down a bit (ya i know this sounds like something really lazy since i don't really put out much here on DA but i really need to do this OTL)and try to work on some basics and different approaches to creating something...i dunno... what im also saying again doesn't make much sense either but to get to the point im gonna train because of this epiphany and i wont release anything unless its quality work that i think is befitting to show off...so disregard whatever is in my gallery now cuz im hopefully gonna have something better when i post something up... Wish me luck! >_<"

Sigh... Academics really suck the life outta ya... well not really but it sure does take away a lot of time... as you've guessed it, it seems Skool has waved its obligatory responsibility finger at me again and dragged me back into classes so unfortunately working on new things is just gonna hav to wait again... Man it seems i can't avoid this cycle of being busy and then super lazy...OTL well for now i'll see wut i can do and submit stuff whenever so laterz ppl...

So ya...its seems alot has changed since i have actively signed in and all and boy DA's changes are nice...plus i've noticed i now have a subscription thanx to the guestbook at the DA booth at anime expo and that i've somehow miraculously made it past 1k in page views by doing nuttin but sit on ma duff =S ...i mean wow thanx to all those still willing to check my DA account to see if i will ever update ;D...lol anywayz im not sure of what to do right now... currently im stil in class (summer skool...lame...i kno...) but its not agonizing so i have tons of time i think... and so im slowly starting to make stuff again...i dunno tho if ill ever finish any one project rofl (short attention span OTL)...anywayz moving onto updates i guess, i was able to buy a cheap tablet, having to ink sketches digitally with a mouse is now a thing of the past for me cuz now i can just draw line art and color ...with that said i feel no inspiration as of now to finish all the sketches that have been piling up on ma desk... so what im getting at is...to anybody vaguely reading this... should i just post the best of these sketches up just for a chuckle or would people be willing to wait for new finished products? i dunno as an amateur i still gots a long wayz to go and hopefully i dont fall into an art slump again due to staying on top of ma academics but anywayz i guess this is the only update ill make for now unless lots of people start commenting me. If so ill keep on talking and updating to try and stay in the loop dis time... so thanx for the support and imma try harder this time
